The challenge of this floor-through condo in a 1920s building is its narrow railroad plan. To make this into a residence for a growing family, SUPERNECESSARY reworked the layout with living and kitchen functions in the front of the apartment while bedrooms are organized toward the quieter garden side. Careful detailing and placement of walls retain original details and delineate an otherwise open plan as a series of spaces.
